Below are the parameters used by Module:Location map to produce the pushpin map in this Infobox. These parameters are available for editors to set in articles that use this infobox. For the maps available, please consult available maps.

0/false/off will cause the template to display the map defined as <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">image</syntaxhighlight> (generally not a relief map). 1/true/on will cause the template to display the map defined as <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">image1</syntaxhighlight> (generally a relief map). Any non-zero numeric value such as <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">2</syntaxhighlight> or <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">3</syntaxhighlight> will display <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">image2</syntaxhighlight> or <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">image3</syntaxhighlight>, if those images are defined. The font size to use for the label, given as a percentage of the normal font size (<100=smaller, >100=larger); the default size is 90. Do not include %. The position of the label relative to the identifying mark; valid values are <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">left</syntaxhighlight>, <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">right</syntaxhighlight>, <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">top</syntaxhighlight>, <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">bottom</syntaxhighlight> and <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">none</syntaxhighlight>. This defaults to either <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">left</syntaxhighlight> or <syntaxhighlight lang="text" class="" style="" inline="1">right</syntaxhighlight>, depending on the coordinates of the marker and its position relative to the right border of the map image.
